Was formed planned set of the respondents for the first dimension of the project "Evaluating the implementation of the promising behavioral intervention for PLHIV “Patient’s school” integrated with the livelihood intervention “Studio of opportunities”" that is being implemented by the Charitable Foundation "Intellectual Perspective" with the financial support of the «Pact Inc.» in 9 cities of Ukraine. In the research will participate 3 target groups:
The study involved three target groups, namely: PLHIV who participated in the intervention "Patient school" (50 respondents in each of the cities of Dnipropetrovsk, Cherkasy and Chernihiv, and 25 respondents - in the cities of Poltava and Kremenchuk.). Total sample – 200 respondents.
HIV-positive women with children under the age of 6, who participated in the integrated intervention "Studio of opportunities" (50 respondents in the cities of Dnipropetrovsk, Poltava, Chernihiv and Cherkassy). Total sample - 200 respondents.
The control group of respondents who receive a standard set of services (50 respondents in the cities of Dnipropetrovsk, Chernihiv and Cherkassy, and 25 respondents in the cities of Poltava and Kremenchug. This is a control group for the respondents, who participated in "Patient School" intervention. 50 respondents in the cities of Zaporozhye, Sumy, Nikolaev and Kharkov, which take part in the study as a control group of respondents to compare with those, who participated in "Studio of opportunities").
In this study it is planned to conduct 4 repeated interviews, with an intervals in every 3 months from the date of first interview.
At this stage, the set of the 1st wave of the respondents in all cities is already completed (800 respondents). Reinterviews at 3rd and 6th months after the inclusion of the respondents into the study are conducted. It is planned to cover 4000 respondents.
